Random Picker Wheel
Paste entries, spin the wheel, and let it pick a fair random winner.
The pointer at the top decides the winner.
Entries are read from the list at the moment you spin, so you can edit them any time. Everything runs locally in your browser.
What is the Random Picker Wheel?
The Random Picker Wheel is a free online tool that turns a plain list of names or options into a colorful spinning wheel and picks one at random. Paste your entries — one per line — press Spin, and watch the wheel slow down over about four seconds until the pointer at the top lands on a winner. It is useful for classroom draws, raffles, giveaways, choosing who goes first in a game, or picking a lunch spot with friends.
How to use it
- Add entries: type or paste one entry per line in the box. The wheel redraws live as you type, so the list is editable any time — even between spins.
- Spin: press the Spin button. The wheel makes several full turns and eases out to a stop. The winner is chosen with JavaScript's random number generator before the animation starts, so the result is fair.
- Remove winner: press "Remove winner from list" to take the winner out of the list — handy for drawing multiple prizes or rotating turns. "Shuffle entries" randomizes the order.
Tips for fair draws
For a fair draw, make sure every entry appears exactly once and that nobody can see the final wheel position before it stops. The wheel does not save your list anywhere — your entries stay in your browser and disappear when you close the page, which also makes it safe for quick, informal draws. If you need an auditable or certified random draw for a legal contest, use a regulated draw service instead; this tool is designed for fun and everyday decisions.
